20,000 Free Kids and Adult Books To Be Given Away At Westfield Wheaton
Wheaton, Maryland: Velocity of Books, a local non-profit organization, will be hosting an event where they will be giving away more than 20,000 books to encourage both kids and adults to read over the summer.

| Book Signing: | Dr. Tomi Children's book author will be available to sign books |
| Volunteer: | Adult and student volunteers seeking SSL Hours |

We met with Rebecca Maguire, Community & Business Development Manager at Barnes and Noble Bethesda, Maryland store.
We discussed community reading events, summer reading initiatives and the importance of print reading logs.
This September Velocity of Books is hosting Gareth Hinds at Barnes and Noble. In addition to the amazing Gareth Hinds, we will also have music, games, prizes, as well as mystery guests.
